Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally will be held at Dimapur (Nagaland), NRS-Dimapur and Lokhra (Assam), from 18 July 2012 onwards for enrolment of 242 vacancies only for male candidates from following States for the posts mentioned against each.

6. Safail: 34posts

8. WM: 13posts

II. Recruitment Rally at Lokhra (Assam):

1. BB : 14posts
2. Carpenter: 11posts
3. Cook: 51posts
4. EBR: 03posts
5. Painter: 01posts
6. Safail: 26posts
7. Tailor: 08posts

Qualification: The qualitative requirement (OR) for recruitment is Class X and to qualify the departmental professional Trade Test of the Trade for which the candidate is seeking enrolment.

Application fee : Rs. 50/- in favor of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at State bank of India DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338. No fee for SC/ ST candidates.

Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard, Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test,
