Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), is the largest establishment under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space. VSSC is engaged in the development of Sounding Rockets, Launch Vehicles, Spacecraft Subsystems and other Space related fundamental research activities. VSSC is the lead Centre for carrying out all the major Launch Vehicle Projects of ISRO such as PSLV, GSLV, GSLV MkIII, Re-usable Launch Vehicle (RLV), Space Capsule Recovery Experiment (SRE) and advanced missions such as Inter Planetary Missions, Manned Mission and First Indian Moon Mission (Chandrayaan-1) etc.

Pay Scale-:

A.    Medical Officer SD-: Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.

B.     Medical Officer SC-: Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.

C.     Scientist/ Engineer SC-: Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.

Age Limit-:

A.    Medical Officer SD-:  Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 04.04.2011.

B.     Medical Officer SC-:  Maximum age limit is 38 years as on 04.04.2011.

C.     Scientist/ Engineer SC-:  Maximum age limit is 40 years as on 04.04.2011.

Qualification-:

A.    Medical Officer SD-:  Doctor of Medicine (MD) / Master of Surgery (MS).

B.     Medical Officer SC-:  MBBS / equivalent from a recognised University registered with Medical Council of India. Minimum 2 years clinical experience in General Practice/Internal Medicine in Medical College Hospital/100 bedded teaching hospital.

C.     Scientist/ Engineer SC-:  ME/M.Tech in Non-Destructive Testing.
